A "reflex" is a reaction to a stimulus,
a "reflection" is something that has been thrown or bent back from a surface
and "to reflect" is to think about, to ponder. . .
This collection of images is a collection that is a response to an idea, a reaction to a stimulus that seemed to dwell inside me to do something different with images, a reaction to create something fresh and interesting with photography. A photographic reflex perhaps? It's a bit of an experiment where the union of two or four of the reflections of one image creates another unique original image. This new image does not at all depict what the original images depicts, thus opening up for another interpretation, maybe stimulating more the imaginative, sometimes more abstract and perhaps more creative than that original image. Pictures can sometimes quickly have a repetitive, "snapshot" quality and the more pictures I seem to see, the more I seem to recognize this...
